FRESH LEMONADE!

It's that time again! It's already feeling like summer here in the south, and summer means lemonade! Personally, I love fresh lemons. The look, the smell, the taste, everything about them is good. So, naturally, I also love lemonade.

What you're going to need:

  • 4-6 fresh lemons (about 1 cup lemon juice)
  • 1 cup sugar (for simple syrup)
  • 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
  • 3-4 cups cold water
  • ice
*The trick to perfect lemonade is to dissolve the sugar in hot water!*

Simple syrup -  Take 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar, place in small saucepan on stove. Heat until sugar is completely dissolved. What time your sugar is dissolving juice your lemons.

                                                              First gather your lemons.

Then slice them all in 1/2

Using your juicer extract 1 cup juice from the lemons.

I used a simple jo!e juicer. I bought from a local store. You can get one here http://www.amazon.com/Citrus-Juicer-With-Silicone-MSC/dp/B003808FBK

After you've juiced all the lemons and your simple syrup is finished, place 1 cup lemon juice, simple syrup and 3-4 cups water (to taste) in a pitcher. Add some ice and fresh lemon slices and you're good to go!
     HAPPY SUMMER DAYS!
